Kalkine Canada Advisory Services Inc. (“Kalkine”, “we”, “our”, “us”) prioritizes privacy, trust, support, and reliability. Using the Internet poses threats to the security and privacy of everyone involved.

You do not have to use the Services if you do not want to disclose your Personal Information. You have the right to refuse providing us with Personal Information by disengaging from the feature or offering that is making the request. By choosing not to become a Member, and by not engaging with any offerings wherein information is specifically requested, we consider you an anonymous User.

We conduct banner advertising on various websites where individuals can input certain Personal Information, such as their first name, last name, e-mail address, and phone number (“Banner Advertising”). Information collected through Banner Advertising is used to generate sales and gather marketing information. Our sales team makes direct telephone calls with the objective of making sales to individuals who have shown their interest in our Services through Banner Advertising. We call our existing Members who pay for Services to promote re-subscription to our Services. By submitting their Personal Information, an individual agrees to our marketing and sales initiatives.

We automatically gather information about your navigational behaviour and your computer, such as your IP address, your device and browser information, referring/exit pages, and operating system. We only use this information for internal research to better understand the needs and interests of our visitors, assess our growth, get insight on demographics, and improve the overall quality and integrity of our community. Information can be obtained through one of the following ways:

Kalkine, being a global company has affiliates and service providers around the world. We may share your information outside Canada with other service providers or third-parties including Kalkine’s affiliates/business units in Australia, the UK, India, New Zealand, and the USA (collectively, the “Affiliates and Related Parties”) for purposes of providing services to you. 

We use contractual and other measures to ensure these Affiliates and Related Parties protect your Personal Information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy to ensure that the Personal Information is used for the same purposes for which we are authorized to use the Personal Information.

Personal information provided to our service providers may be stored outside the Province of Ontario and outside of Canada. Kalkine’s Services are hosted in Canada and are intended for visitors located within Canada. 11)             Opting Out

If you wish to no longer receive our newsletters, marketing communications or other communications that are not reasonably necessary to provide you with the Services, you may unsubscribe at any time (we provide you a way to unsubscribe in any email correspondence) or you may contact us at [email protected].  If you wish to unsubscribe to communications that are reasonably necessary to provide the Service, we may either be limited in our ability to unsubscribe you from those communications, or we may not be able to provide you with those Services.

12)          Account Deletion

When a Member’s subscription expires, or you have opted out of the subscriptions and unsubscribe from mailers, we will remove your information from our marketing and billing systems. This will ensure that there are no further mailings or billings directed towards the cancelled Member.

Furthermore, if you wish to have us delete all your data held on our servers, please contact us at [email protected]. We will ensure to remove all data without breaking accepted accounting principles.

13)          Personal Information and Data Security

Kalkine makes reasonable efforts to ensure the security of Personal Information on our system. Despite security measures, online storage and online communications are not entirely secure. We encourage all individuals to provide only the information they are comfortable with providing a third party, keep watch for communications that are suspicious, and report any suspicious activity to us as soon as possible.

Kalkine uses reasonable efforts to ensure all data collected, including Personal Information, is protected and secure against unauthorised access, alteration, or deletion. Any data you submit to us through an online order form is transferred to us through a Secure Sockets Layer – an encryption protocol – and is kept in databases that cannot be accessed from outside our firewall. Our firewall is a mechanism that prevents access to our servers by anyone outside of the company.
